ROLE :
Responsible for the Ministry's human resource management.
FUNCTIONS:

Planning and monitoring the organisational structure of the Ministry and the agencies under its purview.
- Coordinating and monitoring the requirement of human resource for both the Ministry and its agencies.
- Undertaking personnel evaluations of the Ministry and the agencies under its purview.
- Managing the appointment of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) to the Ministry's Statutory Bodies.
- Managing the recruitment, placement, transfer, pension, promotion, confirmation of appointment of officers and staff.
- Updating information on employment of the Ministry and its agencies.
- Secretariat to
- Administrative Management Committee Meetings;
- Disciplinary Board Meetings;
- Human Resource Development Panel Meetings (PPSM);
- Integrity Management Committee (JKP); and
- Joint Department Council.
- Planning and undertaking career development programmes for the Ministry personnels.
- Implementing programmes pertaining to the instilling of Islamic values at the Ministry.
- Providing counselling services to the Ministry’s personnel.
